As an IT Operations Manager/ ITops (f/m/d) at Chimera Entertainment, you’ll oversee our company’s hardware, software, and computer network. You’ll ensure our IT systems are secure, consistent, and reliable.


Are you ready to set up the basement for the next level of Game Development?

Fields of activity:

  • Managing and reporting of allocated IT budget
  • Evaluating the viability of proposed mid- to long-term IT projects
  • Planning, creating, operating and maintaining the network infrastructure enabling us to develop games and effectively run our business
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies which help to improve our infrastructure and processes
  • Hands-on administration of existing corporate IT systems and support to the development teams

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge and a professional track record in running, operating and maintaining a corporate network infrastructure (incl. hardware & software)
  • Experience and knowledge of an Office365 environment
  • Experience and knowledge of virtual environments (eg.VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V)
  • Advanced skills in backup and archiving systems and strategies
  • Expertise e in Windows and Linux server management and administration
  • Very good proficiency  in networking fundamentals (routing, SSH, SFTP, RSYNC, VPN, etc.)
  • Ability to work self-directed and reliably, while working transparently with the team through good documentation & communication
  • Knowledge in at least three of the following fields of expertise:
    • Automated Deployment
    • Network Monitoring
    • License Management
    • Identity Management
    • Asset Management
    • Development Tools like Jira, Confluence
    • On/Offsite Backup Solutions
    • Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
  • Good command of the written and spoken English language
  • 5 years experience as an IT operator/manager (or equivalent experience)
