The kind of stuff you’ll be doing:
• Design, implement and test front-end game systems & logic
• Work on awesome PC/Mac core games for Steam
• Work with powerful game-engines like Unity and Unreal
• Work with state-of-the-art tools & workflows (VS, ReSharper, …)
• Work with a competent and enthusiastic team of indie-game-devs
• You can also start working remotely from home (if you want to)
• Collaborate remotely with other team-members
Who we’re looking for:
• You know the basics of game-programming (e.g. what is a draw-call?)
• You have experience with at least one game-engine
• You know at least one of the following programming-languages: C#, C++, Java
• You know about OOP
• You love playing games, especially PC games!
• Solid basic math knowledge (linear algebra, geometry)
• You have the ability to work self-directed and reliably
• You like working in a team, solving problems together
• You have good communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
Nice to have:
• You have experience working with Unity and/or Unreal
• You know about code design patterns
• You know about DOD
• You have experience with performance optimizations (e.g. parallelization)
• Solid basic physics knowledge (especially kinematics)
• You know how to write shaders (GLSL, HLSL or Cg)
• You already worked with versioning systems like SVN or GIT
• Knowledge of project management (agile, scrum)
• You have worked in a remote team before
