Reporting to the Communications Director, the Marketing and Communications Intern will be involved in all aspects of Marketing and Communications for rcp and its family of developers, including Product Management, Public Relations, Community and Social Media. Duration of the internship is 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities:

Social media:
  • Work with the Communications Director to create Social Media plans and strategies for the rcp core brand, select products and studios from the rcp developer family
  • Create communication materials for social media channels
  • Execute Social Media plans across multiple channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Manage and grow the social video channels (YouTube, Twitch)
  • Generate ideas for content opportunities and manage creation, approval and distribution of written assets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key influencers (YouTubers, Let’s Players, etc.)
  • Stay informed about the latest community software, platforms, and technologies and report findings to the team

PR:

  • Manage the production of press material including press releases and media
  • Work with the Communications Director to coordinate and support trade shows, press trips and product demos
  • Develop, maintain and grow a media contacts database
  • Maintain a clear process and procedure for collating, filing and communicating all PR coverage
  • Be capable of demonstrating games to press, consumers and partners as required

Marketing:

  • Work with the Product Manager on execution of product marketing plans
  • Execute Marketing partnerships on Social Media channels and digital comms
  • Deliver KPI analysis and develop growth recommendations for our Brand marketing efforts across channels
  • Support strategic marketing with competitor analysis and business intelligence for selected products and the family brands
  • Support execution of conferences, owned events and community events
  • Create and execute ideas for video marketing
  • Collaborate with Creative Services to source and purchase brand materials and merchandise. Manage merchandise inventory and supplier pool.
