As Technical Artists you are familiar with UE4 / Unity and know how to work with the tools the engine provides. Your main tasks will include
  • The integration of assets, particle effects and materials
  • The set up and the lighting of the scene
  • The creation of scripts an shaders to achieve the best visuals and performance
  • the creation of Cutscenes within the game
  • working closely with artists, programmers and game designers

Requirements

  • knowledge of how shaders and materials work and ability to create your own
  • knowledge of how rendering in an engine works (what are draw calls, texture memory, etc.) for optimization
  • a great artistic skill set, extensive knowledge of color and lighting and how to achieve the best visual style
  • familiarity with Photoshop
  • basic knowledge in 3D modeling and the willingness to learn new software such as substance designer
  • Fluently written and spoken English
