As Technical Artists you are familiar with UE4 / Unity and know how to work with the tools the engine provides. Your main tasks will include
- The integration of assets, particle effects and materials
- The set up and the lighting of the scene
- The creation of scripts an shaders to achieve the best visuals and performance
- the creation of Cutscenes within the game
- working closely with artists, programmers and game designers
Requirements
- knowledge of how shaders and materials work and ability to create your own
- knowledge of how rendering in an engine works (what are draw calls, texture memory, etc.) for optimization
- a great artistic skill set, extensive knowledge of color and lighting and how to achieve the best visual style
- familiarity with Photoshop
- basic knowledge in 3D modeling and the willingness to learn new software such as substance designer
- Fluently written and spoken English
