We’re seeking a highly qualified Business Development Manager to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and underdeveloped business opportunities and relationships. We trust our ideal candidate to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help to build our business. The candidate has an established network in the games industry from previous media sales, service sales, or business development. Highly skilled at sales and business development, this person will unlock untapped potential for our agency and help us achieve our goals.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities.
  • Take a lead role in developing proposals and presentations to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in line with targets.
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of new business strategies, and execute tasks that achieve strategic new business goals.
  • Track performance, report key metrics, sync with the agency team.
 

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
  • Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer drivers and industry trends and meet regularly with management and stakeholders.
  • Assist with the proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional experience with sales techniques
  • Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources
  • Passionate about video games
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM software (i.e., Hubspot)
  • Ability to deliver presentations
  • Experience working in the video games industry
  • Experience in an agency setup
