Your role:
As an IT Operations Manager (f/m/d) at Chimera Entertainment, you’ll work to support our company’s hardware, software, and network. You’ll ensure our IT systems are secure, consistent, and reliable.Are you ready to set up the basement for the next level of Game Development?
The kind of stuff you’ll be doing:
- Operate and maintain the network infrastructure enabling us to develop games and effectively run our business
- Research and evaluate new technologies which help to improve our infrastructure and processes
- Hands-on administration of existing corporate IT systems and acting as L2/L3 support for the DevOps tea
Who we are looking for:
- Expert knowledge and a professional track record in running, operating, and maintaining a corporate network infrastructure
- Experience and knowledge of a Microsoft 365 environment
- Experience and knowledge of virtual environments (eg. VMWare, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Advanced skills in backup and archiving systems and strategies
- Expertise in Windows (desktop and server) and Linux management and administration
- Proficiency in networking fundamentals (routing, SSH, SFTP, RSYNC, VPN, etc.)
- Ability to work self-directed and reliably, while working transparently with the team through good documentation & communication
- Knowledge in at least three of the following fields of expertise:
- Automated Deployment
- Network Monitoring
- License Management
- Identity Management
- Asset Management
- Atlassian Development Tools like Jira and Confluence
- On/Offsite Backup Solutions
- Amazon Web Services
- Good command of English both written and spoken
- 5+ years experience as an IT Systems Administrator/IT Operations Manager
